This is designed to assist people with keeping track of the different types of announcements that take place at airports. The targeted audience was originally deaf and hard-of-hearing people, however I realize it benefits hearing people as well. For example they may miss an announcement because they are distracted for any reason. Traveling through airports is difficult for the deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals because they are not able to hear the announcements and things can become very inconvenient for them, like missing a flight because of a gate change, or missing important information from the crew on a plane.
